Let us introduce you to “MY HAPPY PLACE!” This absolutely lovely vacation home is destined to be a favorite! Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Monterey Country Club and overlooking the 7 West fairway, it has many updates throughout and is sunny, bright, comfortable and filled with gorgeous furnishings and artwork.

This popular 20 plan has a lovely, functional West facing entry courtyard with sunshine all day long. It has casual seating and a large umbrella for warmer days. Your outdoor cook will love the gas BBQ and it’s very handy to the kitchen just inside the front door.

The living room is furnished with two comfortable sofas and two Eames style swivel chairs, a large “smart” cable TV and a small desk tucked next to the sliding glass door; a great spot to work … with a view! Open the sliding glass doors and step onto the extended back patio furnished with a dining table that seats four, two chaise lounges an umbrella and a retractable awning. Enjoy coffee and sunrises on the East facing patio and watch golfer play through all day long.

Back inside is a dining area that seats four with additional bar seating at the kitchen pass-through bar perfect for visiting with your “home chef” or using as a second office space to set up your laptop.

The kitchen has been completely updated and is exceptionally supplied for any occasion. You’ll enjoy the ease of preparing casual meals as well as entertaining guests and setting a lovely table.

The primary bedroom has a comfy New (2023) Cal King bed with quality bedding and through the sliding glass door, step out to the back patio. The en-suite has been updated and has dual vanities and a walk-in shower with hand-held showerhead.

The guest bedroom has a dual purpose … it is a den with two Easy Boy reclining easy chairs and cable TV and for the occasional guests, it has a full-size Murphy bed, comfortable for adults or children. The room has a door that can be closed for sleeping privacy. The adjacent second bathroom makes it perfect for guests.”

The guest bathroom has a single vanity and a shower/tub combination with hand-held showerhead.

The laundry room is located in the front hallway behind bifold doors and there is a garage accessible through the entry courtyard. The owners store one car in the garage, but there is ample space for an additional car as well as driveway parking.

This is a beautiful, cheerful, well-loved vacation home. The owners are meticulous in its care and maintenance, and it shows. The home is filled with beautiful, fun art and all the comforts you will need for an extended stay! It also has a top of the line water filtration system which is a very desirable amenity. Monterey Country Club is a gated community in the heart of the desert and has a 27-hole golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts and Clubhouse with dining (during season). It is a private country club but does offer guests the opportunity to purchase smaller memberships for rounds of golf, tennis and pickleball. Guests should contact Monterey Country Club for information about the membership packages and costs. It is close to shopping, entertainment and the best restaurants in the desert!

The owners may consider one small dog no larger than 30 lbs. and paying a pet fee. Please inquire first prior to booking for details and owner’s pre-approval.

Note:  There is a $200/month cap on electricity. 

Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closure of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.

WE DO NOT RENT FOR THE COACHELLA AND STAGECOACH MUSIC FESTIVALS at any property that is able to accept a short-term rental.
