Located in Silver Spur Ranch, Palm Desert, this amazing property has the heart and soul of a ranch home … just on a smaller scale. With 1,900 sq ft of living space, this “ranch inspired” vacation home is packed with character, charm and comfort and is the perfect size for an extended stay in the desert.

This home has everything you are looking for and can accommodate up to six. It’s bright, sunny, and filled with lots of natural light. Beautifully furnished with ranch style décor and comfort in mind. The main living areas feature stone floors and there is carpet in the two bedrooms. Gorgeous high-beamed ceilings in the great room add a homey feel and there’s custom wood-frame windows, French doors, and ceiling fans throughout, as well as a few well-placed solar spotlights.

Whether entertaining or watching your favorite show, the great room features two focal points with seating that easily adjusts to center around either the custom stack stone fireplace or the big screen “smart” TV. In each case, there is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone.

The dining table seats six, and “oh my gosh” … the kitchen is “pure country” and absolutely a perfect fit for this ranch style home. It’s completely updated with granite countertops, stainless appliances, double oven, gas cooktop, farm style sink, panty, and center island with bar seating for two … perfect for visiting with the cook! The cabinets are filled with all you’ll need for entertaining or preparing casual family meals … and yes, even setting a beautiful table.

Just past the dining room is a “bonus” room … both den and guest bedroom. As a den, this room has a large theater-style sectional and lots of room for the kids to camp out on the floor in front of the big screen “smart” TV. There is also a queen-size Murphy bed, every bit as comfortable as a traditional bed. This room can be closed off for privacy and has an en-suite that is handy for the sleeping guest as well as having easy access from the pool. This guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination and through another door, leads to the laundry room and linen storage.

The primary suite has been furnished with a king-size bed, quality bedding, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, beamed ceiling and French doors leading to the pool side patio. The en-suite has a single vanity, walk-in shower, and private water closet.

The guest bedroom has a king-size bed with quality bedding and a wonderful window seat that looks out to the entry courtyard.

The guest bath has a shower/tub combination.

The pool-side patio offers perfect indoor-outdoor living with a beautiful kidney shaped pebble tech saltwater pool with spa at one end and outdoor kitchen at the opposite end … and “views” all around. The back patio is beautifully landscaped and professionally maintained. There are four chaise lounges and plenty of comfortable chairs for hanging out by the pool or gas firepit. Your outdoor chef will love the back-yard kitchen with a propane BBQ, refrigerator and sink under a lighted Pergola, surrounded by pub seating for six … ideal for dining al fresco under the stars.

The home has a two-car garage, but the owners store a personal golf cart on one side, which is disabled and not for renter’s use. There is still enough room for one car inside the garage and two in the driveway.

This home has high-speed internet suitable for streaming programs or attending zoom meetings. There are two large TVs … one in the great room and another in the den. Both are “smart” TVs and have cable channels as well. This home does not have landlines, but the owners may consider adding phones with free US and Canada calling for guests staying 3 months or longer. Please inquire first for owner approval.

This is a dearly loved vacation home recently purchased, furnished and decorated. It is very well maintained, in excellent condition and squeaky clean. A property that can be easily cared for my seasonal guests.

Silver Spur Rancho is an ungated community in desirable South Palm Desert just off Portola Avenue and is within a short walking distance to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, hiking trails and parks. You’ll also be within 3 miles of El Paseo Drive, dining, shopping, museums, theaters, golf and so much more!

Note: There is a cap on monthly gas and electric use for heating the pool/spa and heating/cooling the house. Please inquire about details prior to booking your reservation. The firepit in the entry courtyard runs on propane and we ask that the tenant replaces the propane as needed.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closer of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.
