This is an ideal Desert getaway for a couple or small family. This private, stand-alone Rancho Mirage house features mid-century design, a pool, mountain views both back and front, and privacy from all directions. The home is light, bright and airy inside with a circular driveway, car port, grass front yard, iconic mature palm trees, and landscaping in both front and back. The house is welcoming while giving guests the luxury of privacy both inside and out while maintaining natural light from both north and south. The large front yard features a front patio with mid-century furniture to sit outside and enjoy spectacular mountain and palm views. In the backyard, the clear and bright pool features outdoor furniture for sun bathing and barbecuing. Then, in the evenings, enjoy dinner or relax in the outdoor dining area while enjoying mountain vistas and tranquility that only the desert can offer. To finish off a perfect back yard, a putting green was added the summer of 2020 with clubs, balls and flags provided. Inside, you will find a large living room with an iPod-compatible sound system, period-correct mid-century furniture (including an Eames lounge chair), furnishings and artwork. The dining room features a large oval dinner able that seats six for a nice dinner party with friends. The kitchen has everything you need, including an updated stove, full-size stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, as well as a newer washer and dryer and a high-top breakfast nook table with three stools. Next is the family room that features a low profile white leather mid-century sectional sofa, relaxing chair, wine rack, and hutch filled with 200+ films. The room also has a large screen TV, DVD player, Apple TV, & FireTV for all of your viewing options. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, and is flanked by Danish wood side tables and matching dresser. The guest room has been furnished with a queen bed and a full size futon sofa. Both bedrooms have flat-screen streaming TVs w/DVD players. The primary bathroom has a shower while the guest bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub. Both showers have glass enclosures. Come stay at your Desert Mini-Estate Getaway from home! This home is located in a quite neighbor in the Tamarisk West area of Rancho Mirage.
NOTE: There is a cap on gas and electric of $200 per month. The gas and electric meters are read on the day of guest arrival and again on the day of departure. The owner will pay the first $200 per month of the combined gas and electric charges. Usage in excess of the cap will be deducted from the security deposit to reimburse the owner. A full accounting will be provided 30 to 45 days from guest departure date, allowing time for owners to receive and submit their gas and electric bills to Vacation Rentals of the Desert, and any deposit funds remaining will be refunded per the terms of the Vacation Rental Contract. If guest usage of gas and electric exceeds the security deposit the guest is responsible for the overage. The overage will be charged to the card on file after the guest has an opportunity to review the utility usage calculations.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closure of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.
