Fantastic Home for a Large Family with Amazing Indoor/Outdoor Living and Entertaining 

This spectacular Santa Barbara style home has beautiful dark woods and wrought iron accents throughout.  Completely updated and newly furnished in 2022, this 3,900 sq ft, 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home is perfect for family and friends to spread out and enjoy the best indoor-outdoor living the desert has to offer.  With 4 bedrooms inside and a 5th bedroom in the detached casita, there’s plenty of room to sleep 10 and entertain even more!

Just past the grand double door entry, is a sunny formal living room with high ceiling featuring a stunning chandelier, gas fireplace with mounted TV above, comfortable contemporary furnishings and dining or card/game table with a perfect view of the back patio and pool.  Just off the formal living room is the “great room” and a perfect casual gathering space for family and friends.  The family room has a 65-inch TV, huge sectional and easy chair.  The chef’s kitchen is a cook’s dream and is fully supplied with everything you’ll need for family meals or entertaining guests.  The wet island has table height seating for four and the center island has bar seating for four.  The kitchen offers lots of counter and prep space and more cabinets than you’ll know what to do with.  Your cook will love the gas cooktop and double ovens.  The kitchen has been supplied for entertaining … plenty of cookware and plenty of serving ware!

Just off the kitchen is a formal dining room with seating for up to twelve.  (8 pictured, 4 additional chairs stored).  There is also a handy side table with bar seating for four.

The spacious primary suite sits on the south end of the home and has a king bed, seating area and gas fireplace with mounted TV above.  The en-suite has a jetted garden tub, walk-in shower with bench, his and hers sinks and a seated vanity.  The walk-in closet is almost a room in itself with plenty of hanging space, drawers and storage.  There’s even a built-in valet ironing station.

Just off the primary suite is a convenient den/office with mounted TV and queen size sofa-bed.  This room also has access from the front entry hall of the formal living room and has doors that can be closed for privacy when accommodating an occasional overnight guest.

On the north side of the home are three guest bedrooms.  Guest bedroom #1 has been furnished with a queen bed, mounted TV and has a private en-suite with tub/shower.  It also has a door leading outside to the poolside patio and casita. 

Guest bedrooms #2 and #3 share a Jack and Jill bathroom with his and hers sinks and walk-in shower.  Bedroom #2 has a queen bed with mounted TV and bedroom #3 has two twin beds with mounted TV.

The 5th bedroom is located in a detached casita.  It is furnished with a queen bed, mounted TV and has a kitchenette counter with sink and refrigerator.  The en-suite has a single sink and walk-in shower.

Just off the kitchen, there is a dedicated laundry room that leads to a 2 ½ car garage.  Off the front entry is a powder room for guests.

Outside is your vacation oasis!  The custom-built patio and pool areas are amazing!  Featuring a large salt-water pool and spa with waterfall, a built-in stone BBQ island with seating for four, dining set for four, firepit with seating, four loungers and a covered outdoor entertainment area with fireplace, mounted TV and handy fridge.  The perfect spot for watching a movie, under the starts on a gorgeous desert evening!  This home was designed for relaxation and entertaining!

Amenities include 9 “smart” TVs with Spectrum cable (living room, family room, office/den, 5 bedrooms and back patio), land lines with free US and Canada calling, high-speed wi-fi, ceiling fans in the family room, office/den and all five bedrooms.  The owners may accept a small dog with their pre-approval and paying a pet fee.  Please inquire first.  Newly furnished and supplied late 2021/early 2022 with comfortable, quality furniture and beds, and luxurious linens and bedding.    

This home sits on one third acre, at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quite neighborhood with quite neighbors, in the heart of Tierra Vista.  It is an upscale gated community of 95 spacious homes located off Eldorado, between Hovely Lane East and Country Club Drive, close to dining, shopping and entertainment. 

Note:  There is a cap on the gas and electric at this home.  The gas and electric meters are read the day of guest arrival and again on the departure day.  The owner will pay the first $200 per month of the combined gas and electric usage.  Anything over and above will be deducted from guest’s deposit to reimburse owner.  A full accounting will be submitted to the guest at the time of the deduction.  The home has solar which should help with electricity costs.

Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closer of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.

WE DO NOT RENT FOR THE COACHELLA AND STAGECOACH MUSIC FESTIVALS at any property that is able to accept a short-term rental.
