This amazing vacation property is considered a detached condo but feels more like a private home.  It is spacious home with over 1,600 sq ft of updated living space.  It has high ceilings and windows everywhere making this a sunny, bright, cheerful home ideal for your desert vacation.  In the evenings, grill outside in the warm “desert breeze,” dine at the outdoor table beneath the lighted trellis or tell stories beneath the stars around the outdoor firepit.  This home loves to entertain!

The home has been furnished in a beautiful mix of mid-century modern and contemporary décor with an eye on comfort and detail.  The living room has a leather sofa and two leather easy chairs as well as a couple of fun accents chairs in bright orange adds a stunning punch of color.  The furniture arrangement is ideal for entertaining guests or watching the huge 65 inch “smart” TV with Spectrum cable app, mounted over the gas fireplace.  There is also a convenient wet bar to the side of the fireplace, a trendy amenity original to this 1980s home.  A wall of windows looks out over a large back patio, pictured here with sheer drapes for privacy while still allowing light to brighten the room.

Stepping through the sliding glass door, you’ll find an expanded back patio with desert landscaping, water fountains and lush fruit trees.  Spend your afternoons outdoors amid fruit trees or read in the sunshine next to the trickling fountain.  With the mature fruit bearing fig and grapefruit trees, breakfast is literally “on the house,” or at least within arm’s length. The owners have furnished the outside space beautifully with living area seating surrounding a fire pit, a dining table, and chairs that seats six (not pictured), two chaise lounge chairs, a smaller table and chairs that seats four, multiple umbrellas and a stainless natural gas BBQ, connected to gas line, to complete this perfect outdoor living space.  The back patio gate leads to a greenbelt and one of the community’s pool and spa only 35 steps from the gate.  The comminity pools in Desert Breezes are alternately heated from year to year.  The back patio is east facing and gets morning sun, but with only part of the patio living space covered, it is a sunny space all day long. 

Back inside there is a formal dining room that seats six and additional dining for four in the breakfast area at the far side of the kitchen.  The kitchen is centrally located in the home with loads of cabinets, pantries, and counter space, featuring granite countertops and updated microwave and stove with gas cooking.  The kitchen is well supplied with everything you’ll need for entertaining family and friends.  The kitchen nook has a handy coffee station and has been furnished with a pub table with seating for four, providing a great spot for your morning cup of coffee and spectacular mountain views through two sunny south and west facing windows. 

Just off the kitchen is a door leading to the two-car garage.  The laundry area is also located in the garage with full size washer and dryer.

Through double doors, the large primary suite is yet another sunny space with sliding glass doors leading to the back patio.  The bedroom has been beautifully furnished with a new king size bed (fall 2021), dresser, and flat screen “smart” TV with Spectrum cable app.  It also has a ceiling fan and walk-in closet.  The en-suite has dual vanities and a walk-in shower.

There are two guest bedrooms, both with new queen beds (fall 2021), new furnishings, desks, “smart” TVs with Spectrum cable app and ceiling fans.  Each bedroom has a central shared bathroom with shower/tub combination.

This home has high-speed Wi-Fi, 4 “smart” TVs with Spectrum cable apps, land lines with free US & Canada calling, ceiling fans in living room, breakfast area, all bedrooms and even on the back patio!  It is light, bright, and cheerful throughout, freshly painted and all new furnishings and kitchen supplies in the fall of 2021.  It is also squeaky clean throughout. 

This property is completely private with entry gate at the front and a back gate leading to the greenbelt providing a secure enclosure for a dog.  The owners will consider one small dog but requires their pre-approve.  Please inquire first with the size and breed of dog prior to booking.

This home is located in Desert Breezes, a gated community and lovely, welcoming neighborhood across from the famous Indian Wells Tennis Stadium off Fred Waring and Washington Street.  It has three large pools, eleven spas, an exercise room/fitness center, lighted tennis courts and putting green.  Located within walking distance of the Indian Wells Tennis Stadium and a short distance from El Paseo Drive (the Rodeo Drive of the Desert) with many acclaimed restaurants, fantastic shops, art galleries, and lively bars and nightlife.  If you’re a golfer, you can take your pick of world-class courses in the area; if you’re a hiker, be sure to spend a day exploring the Indian Canyons, or challenge yourself on the “Bump & Grind,” or one of many designated hiking trails.  Other fun things to put on your calendar:  The Thursday Night Village Fest in downtown Palm Springs, a day at The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, Empire Polo Grounds, the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, Joshua Tree National Park, a drive through Box Canyon and the San Andres Fault, a shopping day at the Cabazon Outlets or a night testing your luck at one of the six Coachella Valley casinos.

The propane on the firepit is the guest's responsibility to replace as used.

From year to year, the community pools are alternately heated during the cooler months.

Note:  For summer rentals, May through the end of September, there is a $200/month cap on electricity. 

Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.
