We are happy to introduce you to Serenity on Sutton, a spectacular 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home at Belmonte Estates in Palm Desert. This vacation home has everything you could possibly wish to have for your extended stay. With over 2,700 sq ft, this updated vacation home has beautiful new contemporary furnishings throughout (summer 2022), high ceilings and lots of windows to let in our glorious winter sunshine!  The owners took great care in furnishing a comfortable, relaxing retreat for their family and their lucky seasonal guests.
 
Walking through double front doors, you enter a sitting area and dining room. It is a perfect space for serving cocktails and entertaining guests in a more formal setting. The dining table seats six (with table leaves and additional wood folding chairs available) and includes a large glassware hutch with stemware and barware for any occasion. The living area has a sofa, two recliner chairs, and a handy bar for preparing cocktails or serving your favorite wine. This is also a great, sunny spot to relax with a book, away from family and guests.
 
Past the dining area is the kitchen and great room, the very heart of the home, and a space your family is sure to love. The kitchen is a chef’s dream. Filled with all the supplies you could wish for … high quality appliances, double oven, gas stove, wine cooler, and the kitchen island is surrounded by a table-height bar with seating, ideal for casual meals, visiting with the cook or working on your laptop. Within the cabinets you’ll find lovely and plentiful dining, casual glassware, poolside dining ware, and cookware for either casual or formal meal preparation and serving.
 
The great room has an enormous sectional with plenty of room for family and friends … and it’s large enough and comfortable enough for an afternoon siesta! There is a gas burning fire and ice fireplace and a large smart TV, so don’t forget to bring your streaming passwords.  
 
Off the great room you’ll step out to the backyard/patio surrounded by palms, bougainvillea, and lush desert landscape. The crystal blue pebble tec saltwater pool is stunning and oh-so inviting. The posted pictures do not do it justice! Both the pool and spa have handrails that are wonderful features not often found in private pools/spas and guests will love the in-pool bar-seating where you can belly-up to the outdoor kitchen BBQ for a cold drink or a chat with your “grill-master.” Relax under the Pergola and retractable electric awning in the outdoor living space or have dinner at the outdoor dining set (seats eight) that’s by a large outdoor “smart” TV under a separate retractable electric awning to complete the perfect year-round indoor-outdoor living experience! The sunny backyard/pool faces west and is surrounded by high walls and landscaping for privacy.  
 
Back inside you’ll find the primary suite at the south wing of the home with perfect separation from the guest bedrooms.  It’s furnished with a king sleigh bed with quality bedding and has a sitting area with two recliner chairs by the sliding glass doors that lead out to the backyard and pool area. There is also a “smart” TV, dressers, walk-in closet, and spacious en suite with his and hers sinks, separate toilet room, seated vanity, jetted soaking tub, and large walk-in shower.

Three guest bedrooms are located on the north wing of the house. One bedroom with a queen bed has direct access to the combination tub/shower bathroom, and two bedrooms with queen beds share the hallway bathrooms—the tub/shower combination and the second bathroom with a shower. All guest rooms are beautifully furnished with platform beds with drawers beneath allowing more space in the room, and all have quality bedding.  

The fifth guest bedroom is an attached casita located just outside the front door with its own private entrance. It is furnished with a king bed, smart TV, mini fridge, and microwave. The en suite has a single lavatory and a shower/tub combination. 
 
Additional features include a small office with desk and well-stocked bookshelf, and a dedicated laundry room with new washer and dryer located inside the home. An attached two car garage plus golf cart garage offers plenty of parking and a space for a golf cart for guests who wish to rent a cart during their stay. The garage includes an EV 240v outlet and the driveway provides parking for guests.
 
This home has high speed wi-fi, “smart” TVs in the great room, master bedroom, backyard, and casita with Spectrum cable and Apple TVs. The Sonos audio system operates throughout the main house and can be connected to your smart phone via the Sonos App using Airdrop or via various music streaming services. There are ceiling fans in the great room, dining area, and all bedrooms. This home has high ceilings throughout, lots of big windows to let in light, plantation shutters throughout and carpeting in the bedrooms and formal living area next to the dining room. The home is much loved, and it shows in the cleanliness, meticulous maintenance, attention to detail and comfort. It is a “happy” home with incredibly good vibes and soothing décor—a perfect home to relax and unwind. 
 
There is a monthly cap on the gas and electricity, but this home has “solar” which should greatly help! Please contact our office for more details.  
 
This home does not allow pets or smoking.
 
Belmonte Estates is a small, quiet, gated community of 88 prestigious homes. It is conveniently located off Cook Street just North of Hovley Lane East in Palm Desert. It is just minutes away from fashionable El Paseo and a variety of dining options, as well as grocery stores, shopping, galleries, and both indoor and outdoor entertainment.

Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.

NOTE: There is a cap on gas and electric of $200 per month. The gas and electric meters are read on the day of guest arrival and again on the day of departure. The owner will pay the first $200 per month of the combined gas and electric charges. Usage in excess of the cap will be deducted from the security deposit to reimburse the owner. A full accounting will be provided 30 to 45 days from guest departure date, allowing time for owners to receive and submit their gas and electric bills to Vacation Rentals of the Desert, and any deposit funds remaining will be refunded per the terms of the Vacation Rental Contract. If guest usage of gas and electric exceeds the security deposit the guest is responsible for the overage. The overage will be charged to the card on file after the guest has an opportunity to review the utility usage calculations.
