Inside, the European-inspired gourmet kitchen and stunning ‘great room’ is surrounded by gorgeous views of lush landscape and mountain peaks through twin walls of glass overlooking the private front and rear patios … redefining indoor-outdoor living.

Not to be outdone, a very well-equipped outdoor kitchen and bar overlooks the impressive back patio with glass fire-pit, saltwater pool, hot tub, seated dining, and multiple living and lounging areas.  Nestled in the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains, guests will enjoy the peek-a-boo views of the mountains throughout the property framed by swaying palm, vibrant bougainvillea, mature olive trees and a large fruit tree grove, so pleasing to the eye. 

Back inside, this home will comfortably sleep six with a primary/main suite on the East wing of the home and two guest bedrooms with a shared bath on the West wing.

The euro-sleek primary/main bedroom has a view of the front courtyard with an outdoor seating area, a perfect setting for a quiet morning coffee among the hummingbirds.  Furnished with a Cal King bed, large walk-in closet and dresser for storage, quality linens, large flat-screen cable TV, and a spa-like en-suite that will make you “never want to leave!”  The en-suite has dual vanities, deep soaking tub, 4x6 walk-in shower with rain-shower head, spa towels and just a touch of sparkling crystal … a perfect retreat to pamper your body and soul.

Two charming guest rooms on the opposite end of the home with a shared bath make for an ideally separated space for friends and family.  One furnished with a Cal. King bed, the other with a Full bed, and both complete with quality bedding, desk space, ceiling fans and 46 inch mounted flat-screen cable TVs.

There is a dedicated laundry room off the primary/main bedroom and garage with easy access to the back patio for storing pool towels and pool floats.  The garage has space for two vehicles inside as well as two in the driveway.

This home loves to entertain “large” and is fully equipped for entertaining inside and out, but you just may want to relax and keep it all to yourself!

Note from management:  This is not a typical vacation home!  Walking through the front gate is like walking into another world entirely.  It catches you completely off-guard and is absolutely stunning.  It has the secluded feel of a private estate, yet is in the heart of everything, so much so that you don’t even need a car.  The homeowners are meticulous in its care, and it shows in hundreds of ways, and they have gone above and beyond in providing amenities for their guests.  It has beauty without sacrificing comfort, the latest technology with easy-to-follow instructions, they have seamlessly melded indoor and outdoor living to perfection and the home is in tip-top maintenance, and most importantly … is squeaky clean!  You will not be disappointed.

Built in 1958 Re-imagined in 2012/2013 and finally completed in 2017 and is approximately 2,000 sq ft (but we have our doubts, it feels much bigger).

Living room has Visio 77” flat screen Samsung cable TV with soundbar, Apple TV, and DVD Player.

Primary/main bedroom has 55” mounted flat-screen with cable and Apple TV.

Both guest bedrooms have 46” mounted flat-screen cable TVs.

High Speed Internet with 400mb download, 20mb upload.

Apple TV in primary/main and living room, so don’t forget your streaming app information.

Automatic shades on the great room glass walls give the option of privacy between living spaces or left open for an expansive feel. Dramatic lighting, day and night, inside and out, will dazzle.

Indoor dining has a glass top table with 6 chairs and is open to the living room and kitchen. Table extends to provide seating for 8 (using two extra chairs, one in each guest bedroom).

Kitchen has recycled granite counters, stainless hi quality appliances and a commercial gas range, dishes/utensils and is FULLY stocked with all the necessary amenities and more! Lots of pantry area, dishwasher, gas stove and oven, microwave, and side-by-side refrigerator with in-door ice and water. Glass kitchen bar for additional seating on stools for 4.

Outdoor fireplace on patio as well, natural gas fired.

Outdoor BBQ kitchen has a built-in grill with side-burner and sear burner, which runs off the house natural gas supply. Seating for 4 at the outdoor kitchen bar. Sink/disposal built into the bar, ice maker & beverage cooler and warming drawer.

Fruit tree grove by outdoor kitchen has Meyer Lemons, Key Limes, Figs and Citrus Trees, edible and totally welcome to guests when the fruit is producing and ripe for the picking.

UNBELIEVABLE LOCATION about 1.5 blocks to famous El Paseo Drive (Rodeo Drive of the Desert). Walk to the best dining, shopping, art galleries in the desert!  This home is located in the “Heart of the Desert” and is within close driving distance to shopping, dining, theaters, hiking, golf, tennis and The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closer of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.
