Built in 1963, this home has all the iconic features of a true mid-century yet all the desirable updates for today’s comfortable living, without losing its big personality and charm! The home is spacious with almost 2,200 sq ft of living space and huge back yard and can comfortably sleep six.

Upon entering the home, the focal point is the enormous wall of sliding glass doors letting in sunshine and looking out over the spectacular pool area and 180-degree southern mountains views beyond. The living room has a stunning stone fireplace with gas logs, comfortable mid-century style furnishings and a huge flat screen “smart” cable TV. A dining table that seats six runs along the sliding glass doors and there is an additional breakfast table that seats four located by the kitchen.

Maintaining the character of the home, the original kitchen cabinets have been refurbished, otherwise the kitchen has been completely updated with granite countertops, modern backsplash and updated appliances. The kitchen is very well-stocked and generously supplied for casual cooking or entertaining guests.

A spacious primary bedroom and two spacious guest bedrooms are located on three different corners of the house offering perfect separation and privacy. Each has a private en-suite with walk-in shower and all with the original fab 1963 pink and blue tile, again keeping with the original charm of this home.

The primary bedroom has been furnished with a comfortable king bed, flat screen "smart" TV with cable and has a walk-in closet. There is also a convenient sliding glass door that leads directly to the poolside patio.

Guest bedroom one has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and looks over the front of the house. Guest bedroom two has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and also has access to the poolside patio through a sliding glass door. Another feature is a door in the en-suite that leads to the back patio, convenient for shower access directly from the pool.

This home was made for outdoor living and entertaining! The huge back yard surrounded by high fencing and walls, has gorgeous palms and desert landscaping that provide complete privacy. The pool is larger than you find in most private homes and there is a raised spa that flows into the pool that can comfortably seat 4 or 5. A welcomed amenity is the convenient handrail leading into the pool and another, into the spa. Two handsome wood Pergolas offer shade over the spa and over the large, raised seating area behind the pool where you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating to relax the day away, hang out with friends or enjoy a glass of wine under the stars. This back yard also has a fun shuffleboard court, complete with cues and discs and the owner has also supplied cornhole boards and bean bags for even more outdoor entertainment. There is also an outdoor dining set and propane BBQ. To top off this perfect backyard paradise there is a patio heater for the chilly evenings! Guests are responsible for refilling the patio heater as needed.

There is an attached two car garage with direct access to the kitchen and a long driveway with plenty of parking space, all situated on a large corner lot in a quiet neighborhood in desirable South Palm Desert.

Amenities include high-speed wi-fi, "smart" TV with cable in the living room and primary bedroom and “good vibes” throughout!

Note: There is a cap on gas and electricity. The gas and electric meters are read on the day of guest arrival and again on the departure date. Owners will pay the first $200 per month of the gas and electric combined. All overages will be deducted from the guest’s deposit and a full accounting will be provided to the guests when the 30 to 45 days after guest departure when the bills are collected from the owner.
