This two-bedroom condo has been updated from top to bottom and would be an ideal seasonal home for a couple with occasional family visitors. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, uncluttered, squeaky clean and in one of the most sought-after country clubs in the desert. What more could you ask for?
What was once a small galley kitchen with very little cupboards and workspace, a small dining area and living room, this condo has been completely reimagined. The owners removed walls and merged living room, dining room and kitchen creating an open, yet inviting living space, perfect for family and entertaining. The kitchen is truly spectacular and a rare find in The Resorter. It has twice the space of the original kitchen and a large island with cooktop and seating. The owners love to cook and it’s obvious that this kitchen is the heart of the home, and around the kitchen island is the place where family and guests will gather. Completed with quality stainless appliance, custom cabinets and well stocked for the home chef.
There are two bar stools at the end of the island with an additional two folding stools available. An ideal spot for casual meals or working on your laptop. The dining table is located in the living room and when not in use, the sides fold to create a console table that can be tucked out of the way. It is pictured here beneath the globe wall art pieces. There are four folding chairs available to be used with the dining table.
The living room has been furnished with a sofa, love seat and easy chair. There is an ottoman instead of a coffee table to comfortably prop up your feet while watching TV. The TV has basic cable channels and a Roku adapter enabling guests to stream using their personal Amazon, Netflix, etc. apps. Through sliding glass doors, step out to an extended back patio that is furnished with a propane BBQ grills, dining table that seats four, a seating area for two and two chaise lounge chairs. There is also an umbrella that can be easily moved where needed. The patio is East facing, so is a great spot for your morning coffee.
Originally this condo was a one bedroom with den and 1.5 baths, the owners have furnished the den with a queen bed to fit their own family’s needs and there is an en-suite powder room with sink and commode.
The primary bedroom has a king bed, cable TV and an en-suite with walk-in shower. There is also a sliding glass door that leads to the back patio.
The laundry is located behind doors off the covered carport and has a stacking washer/dryer. There is covered parking for one vehicle and an uncovered space for guests. It is located a short walk to the pool and spa and within short driving distance to the clubhouse, tennis and pickleball courts.
This is a dearly loved family vacation home, well maintained, comfortable and clean. There are TVs in the living room and primary bedroom with cable channels and the living room has streaming capabilities. Wifi is provided but there are no phones. The owners may consider adding a landline with free US and Cananda calling for guest booking 3 months or longer, but please inquire first.
The 18-hole golf course was refurbished in 2021 and there are currently 9 tennis courts and 20 pickleball courts. For information on pickleball and The Resorter please search tennisinapickle.com.
About the Palm Desert Resort Country Club, “The Resorter”: The Resorter is a gated community consisting of 960 homes and has 24-hour guard service. It is set against spectacular panoramic views of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains. The par 72, championship golf course is “open to the public” has mature trees and lush landscaping. Strategic locations of the many water hazards and sand bunkers, as well as a choice of four tee placements on every hole, provides a challenge for both the experienced and novice golfer alike. An excellent practice driving range and a teaching pro are available to improve your skills. The Resorter also offers world-class pickleball and tennis and has been named the Valley’s Premiere Pickleball and Tennis Club for three years running. Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.
SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closer of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.
