This gracious vacation home in Rancho Las Palmas Country Club is beautifully furnished with tasteful art and décor. Guests will not know where to look first … at the gorgeous art pieces throughout this home or the breathtaking views from the living room and back patio. This end-unit 30 plan with south facing patio has sunshine all day. It overlooks double fairways and has panoramic views of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains.

The living room has plenty of seating for the entire family plus guests, all centered in front of a large “smart” cable TV. Through wall-to-wall windows guests will love the gorgeous, sunny views. Throw open the sliding glass door for perfect indoor-outdoor living. The extended back patio looks over the 2 south and 6 south fairways with mountains beyond. The patio has been furnished with an outdoor dining set that seats six plus two barstools at the kitchen window bar and a natural gas grill. It has direct access to the kitchen making BBQs easy and convenient. It also has an awning for those warmer days and a lighted ceiling fan that’s perfect for the evenings.

Back inside, the atrium, off the living room, has been enclosed and now has a skylight letting in additional natural light and furnished with a fun bar, perfect for cocktail parties! This is a great home for entertaining.

The kitchen has granite countertops and newer white appliances, and the cupboards are filled with everything your cook needs to prepare everyday meals or entertain guests. This is a very well-furnished home, loved and used often by the owners who enjoy cooking and entertaining. The dining room seats up to eight and there is a small dining table in the kitchen that seats two.

At the end of the hall, the primary bedroom has been furnished with a king bed, “smart” cable TV, ceiling fan and has an en-suite with dual vanities and a walk-in shower.

There are two guest bedrooms, one furnished with a queen and the second furnished with a full-size bed. The hall bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Note that the full-size bedroom has been enlarged and does not have a closet. The owner has provided additional clothes hooks on the door leading to the guest bath.

There is a dedicated laundry room that leads directly to the attached garage. The owners have a significant amount of storage in the garage but there is still room for one car inside the garage and two in the driveway.

This home has wi-fi and both TVs are “smart” with capabilities for streaming and have Spectrum cable channels. Please remember to bring your streaming apps. There are no landlines so please remember to bring your cell phone.

The homeowners are collectors who love art and color, and guests will appreciate the eclectic charm of this home. It’s a light, bright and sunny home with high ceilings in the living room, carpet in the living room and bedrooms and tile in the walkways, kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. It is within walking distance to the clubhouse, close to a pool and spa and not far from the back gate off Monterey Avenue … but far enough to miss traffic noises. And it’s an easy walk to the “seasonal” College of the Desert Street Fair.

No Smoking & No Pets!

Rancho Las Palmas is a semi-private country club adjacent to the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort. It has a 27-hole golf course and one of the desert’s top tennis and pickle ball facilities, community pools and spas and walking distance to many dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

NOTE: It may be possible to purchase an RFID tag to use the owner’s entrance at the front gate and access to enter the back gate off Monterey Avenue. To qualify for the purchase, tenants must rent for a minimum of two months, acquire the owner’s permission, present a signed rental agreement and pay $100. Please inquire for more details. Guest with shorter stays, or without an RFID tag will be given a gate pass and must use the front gate of Bob Hope Drive to enter Rancho Las Palmas and can exit only through the back gate on Monterey Avenue.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closure of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.
