Schools, and Homes Reducing the risk of exposure to COVID-19 by cleaning and disinfection is an important part of reopening public spaces that will require careful planning. Every person has been called upon to slow the spread of the virus through social distancing and preventative hygiene, such as frequently washing your hands and wearing face coverings. Everyone also has a role in making sure our communities are as safe as possible to reopen and remain open.

VROD Office & Staff – In an attempt to provide a safe and healthy working place for our employees and assure safe properties for our rental guests, the following rules will be effective immediately.

The VROD office door will be kept locked with a sign to “Please Knock” for entry and a requirement to wear a mask.  Employees will be required to put on a mask and provide a mask for those coming into the office, if needed.  The front counter will have hand sanitizer available and the areas that the visitor touched, will be cleaned and disinfected by an employee after visitor has departed.  If possible, set up appointments with visitors.

We ask all employees, contractors and visitors, to not come to the VROD office if you are NOT feeling 100% or have come in contact with anyone who is ill.  An appointment can be rescheduled for a later date or a meeting by phone can be arranged.

In accordance with CDC recommendations, the VROD office will enforce the following:  social distancing (specifically, staying 6 feet away from others when you must go into a shared space), frequently washing hands or use  of alcohol-based (at least 60% alcohol) hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available, wearing cloth face coverings, avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth, staying home when sick, cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces such as: door handles, desks, phones, computer keypads, light switches, and faucets.
